Land for the construction of an apartment building called ‘Zahradni Mesto’ is located in Prague 10 in Zabehlice. The design of the apartment building has five full above-ground floors and two receding above-ground floors. The height of the building will not exceed the surrounding buildings, which consists of existing prefabricated houses with heights of 7 to 14 stories. Therefore, the volume and architectural design of the new building will not disturb the urban character of the existing neighbourhood, and on the contrary, it aims to naturally complement the existing development. The building will be divided into three sections, each with its own entrance, a staircase and elevator. Common areas for the sections are the underground floor, where there are parking spaces, cellars for residents and technological facilities. Individual flats are designed as 1+kk, 2+kk, 3+kk and on the top floors and corners as 4+kk apartments. The apartment building will provide about 120 residential units with a total of approximately 131 parking spaces. Furthermore, a semi-private inner courtyard will be built for the residents of the apartment building, parking spaces for visitors and the entire western part of the plot will be transformed into a dog park. A separate gatehouse will be located at the entrance to the complex.
