KINDERGARTEN AS A PART OF
THE ČÁMOVKA 1 PROJECT

The two-storey kindergarten building in Čimice is part of the project NAD ČIMICKÝM ÚDOLÍM 1 (ČÁMOVKA 1). The material design of the kindergarten emphasizes the entrance part of the building at the corner and freely flows into the upper residence floor, relieved by a partially glazed ground floor. In color and material design, the proposed kindergarten building reflects the unity and details of the surrounding residential complex. The facade can be complemented with motifs of the kindergarten logo or children's motifs. The proposed kindergarten is conceived as a one-department operation. The capacity is 20 pre-school children. The barrier-free main entrance to the building is located on the west front. The classrooms are oriented to the south elevation and provide direct access to the exterior - the adjacent garden. Partial shading and protection against the weather are realized by a slight overlap of the 2nd floor in the southern direction. LOXIA has fulfilled the complete mission of architect and general designer here.
