MODŘANSKÁ ROKLE

In 2009, the construction of the Modranska rokle residential project in Modrany, Prague, was completed. The housing project contains three separate four-storey buildings in an enclosed area with a gated entrance. There are a total of 120 housing units ranging in size from 2+kk to 4+kk and includes a sufficient number of parking spaces for residents. All apartments have a balcony, terrace or front garden and also include cellars.

The Modranska rokle project represents an ideal combination of nature and life in the big city. The functional architecture was awarded 1st place in the prestigious ‘Facade of the Year 2009’ competition in the ‘New Buildings’ category. The apartment buildings naturally fit into existing buildings. Residents of the housing complex in the vicinity are fully served by civic amenities, including shops, schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, and a post office. The neighbourhood in which the Modranska rokle project is located also offers a wide range of leisure activities. Additionally, there is not only a forested park under the same name, ‘Modranska rokle’, but there are also cycle paths and tracks for in-line skating.
