RECONSTRUCTION OF A SPECIAL BLUE SCHOOL

The complete reconstruction of the school, which was built in the 1970s, took place between 1999 and 2003. The school is located on U Modre skoly Street, which connects both Kupeckeho and Hviezdoslavova streets in Prague’s Haje neighbourhood. The whole project was adapted to the needs of special education for children from 6 to 18 years of age in modern classrooms and offices. The school is designed as barrier-free and includes sports facilities with two gymnasiums and a cafeteria with a total area of 800 m2. LOXIA fulfilled the complete mission of the architect and general designer for this project.
