APARTMENT BUILDING SEDMIKRÁSKA

The residential building with the poetic name Sedmikráska (the Daisy) is located in an existing block development near the O2 arena in Prague 9. It was completed in 2014. The residential building with 8 - 10 above-ground and 2 underground floors contains 140 apartments and 11 studios with a layout of 1 + kk to 4 + kk together with commercial space on the ground floor. Parking spaces are located on the underground floors. Concerning the orientation of the building and its location in the block development, the facades are designed in an atypical way to maximize the use of the sun and the optimal view for all apartments. The rounded shapes instead of right angles and the combination of bright yellow and pure white evoke the daisy. The technical design of the house takes into account the B metro line that passes under the building. The Daisy apartment building also includes a publicly accessible park designed above the underground garages. All civic amenities are located in the vicinity of Sedmikráska and there is also excellent transport accessibility to the center of Prague. LOXIA provided the complete mission of the architect and general designer from study to completion.
